This Salisbury Steak with Gravy dinner is the epitome of comfort food! It’s packed with flavor and the meat is wonderfully tender, accompanied by the most delightful gravy. Ingredients:

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1/3 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped onion
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 2 tbsp all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup water

Instructions:

  1. In a bowl, mix ground beef, breadcrumbs, onion, egg, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper. Shape into oval patties.
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Brown the patties on both sides.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together beef broth and flour until smooth. Pour over the patties in the skillet.
  4. Cover and simmer for about 20 minutes, turning patties halfway through.
  5. Remove the patties. Add water to the skillet, stirring to make gravy. Simmer until thickened.
  6. Serve the patties with the gravy on top.
