Blackened Pork Chops Recipe

Ingredients:
- Pork Chops
- Pure Olive Oil
- Sea Salt
- Black Pepper
- Blackened Scrumptious (or your favorite blackening seasoning)
- Sugar
- Apple Juice
- Water
Instructions:
Optional - brine chops in salt, sugar, apple juice & water bath for 30 minutes.
- Lightly coat chops with olive oil.
- Season with sea salt and black pepper to your liking.
- Season with Blackened seasoning to your liking.
- Cook on high heat in cast iron skillet, brown on both sides until it has a charred color and temp is around 135 degrees.
- Broil in oven until blackened and temp is 145 degrees.
- Cover with foil and let them rest for 10 minutes.
