Granny’s Cocoa Cream Pie

 Today’s recipe is a quick, creamy and wonderful summer dessert , my mom used to make it when we were younger , with the flavor of chocolate it was a MIRACLE!!!!

  Preparation time 15 mins
    Cooking Time 120 mins


  • 3 large egg yolks.
  • 2 cups whole milk.
  • 1 cup and half granulated sugar.
  • 1 cup cocoa powder.
  • ¼ cup cornstarch.
  • 1 tsp pure vanilla extract.
  • 1 cup white flour.
  • a pinch of salt. 


  STEP I : Beat egg yolks in a medium bowl , add cornstarch , cocoa , sugar , a pinch of salt then add milk gradually.

  STEP II : Stir the mixture in a pot over med-high heat, cook until thick, beating it smooth. 

  STEP III : Pour into a pre-baked pie shell , and let it cool in fridge for 30 minutes.

P.S:You can use whipped cream for topping .
