Creamy Macaroni Fruit Salad

Macaroni fruit salad is a type of pasta salad. Homemade macaroni fruit salad is a very famous dessert in Philippines made mostly during festive season or special occasion. Macaroni fruit salad recipe is made with cooked macaroni, sweetened condensed milk, mayonnaise and other fruit cocktails.


300 grams macaroni, uncooked

400 grams can fruit cocktail, well drained

150 grams red nata de coco, drained

150 grams green nata de coco, drained

3/4 cup cubed cheddar cheese

1 cup mayonnaise

250 ml kremdensada (combined cream and condensed milk)

250 ml nestle cream

1 & 1/2 litres of water for boiling

1 tsp salt 

1/2 tbsp oil 

How to make sweet macaroni fruit salad 


1. Boil 300 grams salad macaroni in water according to package instructions( usually 10 minutes). Remove from heat and drain excess water. Set aside for at least 2 hours. 

2. In a big mixing bowl, put-in cooked salad macaroni, add drained fruit cocktail, red and green nata de coco, diced cheddar cheese.

3. Pour-in cream/creamy condensed milk (kremdensada) and mayonnaise. Mix thoroughly, until everything is coated with the sauce.

4. Chill before serving.
